Pet Portrait Artists Mauritius

Every canvas is painted by a human hand.

No exceptions.

Meet the artists who turn your pet’s most chaotic moment into an original work of art – brush by brush, not pixel by pixel.

Every Tail of Chaos canvas is 100% hand-painted by a professional artist.

In a world where “art” can now be typed into a prompt box, we made a deliberate choice: everything we sell starts with a real person, a real brush, and a real canvas.

Behind every Tail of Chaos painting is an artist who trained for years to understand light, motion, and expression, the same skills that have defined portraiture for centuries, now pointed at your dog mid-zoomies or your cat mid-crime-scene.

That’s not a gimmick. It’s a craft, and it deserves to be treated like one.

We don’t outsource this to algorithms because algorithms don’t know your pet. They don’t notice the way she tilts her head before chaos strikes, or the exact chewed-up corner of that cushion.

Our artists do, because they look, sketch, revise, and paint with intention. Every piece is approved by you at the sketch stage before a single stroke of paint touches canvas, and every piece that leaves our studio is one of one.

Never a template. Never generated. Never repeated.

What Hand-Painted

Actually Means

Trained, not generated.

Our artists studied painting and illustration before they ever painted a pet.

A process, not a click.

Reference photos and tale → pencil sketch → your sign-off → hand-painting.
Nothing is painted without your approval at the sketch stage.

One canvas, one artist, one owner

No two paintings are identical, because no two artists paint a scene the same way twice.

Original first.

The canvas itself, not a print, not a file, is the product. Everything else (mugs, phone cases, prints) is made from the original, never instead of it.

Our Artists.

Deerooven Pavaday

Illustration & Cartoon

“I’m Deerooven Pavaday a visual artist living and creating in Mahebourg, Mauritius. My work explores the connection between nature, memory and place, drawing inspiration from organic forms and the landscapes around us.”

Since graduating from the School of Fine Arts, my journey has taken me across the Indian Ocean through residencies and collaborations with pARTage, Fondation Malcolm de Chazal, Rezidance Moka and Fil ROUGE in Madagascar and Réunion.

Creating for Tail of Chaos brings this exploration somewhere more personal. I love capturing the expressions, quirks and little moments that make each pet unforgettable, turning them into an artwork that reflects not only how they look, but who they are and the story they share with their humans.

For me, art is about connection, and every story deserves to be told in its own way.

Aurora

Realism

“I’m Aurora, a Mauritian visual artist, specialised in painting. With a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts, I’ve dedicated my life to creativity and to exploring the many ways art can express what words cannot.

My work explores emotions, human experiences, & the stories we carry within us.”

Aurora’s art practice spans abstract and figurative art. Since completing her studies, she has participated in various collective exhibitions and an artistic residency in 2025, which allowed her to further develop her practice.

Her work explores human experience, emotion, perception, and introspection, often translating feelings and personal experiences into visual narratives.

Through Tail of Chaos, Aurora explores the special bond between pets and their owners. Inspired by the emotional connections we share with our animal companions, she transforms these bonds and memories into realistic artworks.
